Our Director Michelle, originally from Gairloch especially enjoyed this project as she spent most of her early hospitality years waitressing and behind the bar at The Old Inn! Early summer 2020 we were contacted by owner Alastair Pearson to chat about the project, and we were excited to give a new lease of life to a local business that was well established in the area.

The brief was to put together (from concept to creation) 6 unique and fun Covid compliant themed dining spaces in the hotel that would encourage customers in and make them feel comfortable in their surroundings. Alastair was also keen to enhance the bars Scottish Gin offering and introduce a small cocktail menu to give customers something different to try.

The project ran over a 10-week period to bring the vision to life, from fun mood boards to finished and functional spaces. The end result was a delighted client and lots of comfortable happy customers!

The 6 themed spaces were: Inn the Gin Garden, The Old Stables, Grape and Grain, Beside the Sea, The Maltings and Flowerdale Secret Garden. The gin list for re-opening featured over 20 Scottish Gins and the cocktail menu featured 6 different cocktails.
