Having been an avid fan of ‘Mountain Café Aviemore’ for many years our Director Michelle closely followed the developments of Kirsten and the team. Growing from the Aviemore café, through to Grantown on Spey they developed a community based Covid response by providing a doorstep bakery for the local folk during the pandemic. This then quickly developed to them taking a bakery unit where they now have an amazing wee bakery shop, with local e-bike deliveries and deliveries further afield via car and mail.

It was inspiring to see how a business that took such a massive knock from the pandemic has been able to pick themselves back up so quickly and re-invent for the better. As a goodwill gesture we reached out to Kirsten just before Christmas 2020 to offer to come down and get some photos of the bakery and produce that they could then use as they liked.
