• North Hop

Another Snow Marketing sideline project (call us crazy!), North Hop is all about celebrating craft beer, artisan gins, creative cocktails, Scottish food, homegrown music and more, the Highland Way!

This project has involved substantial design, video and photography work, working alongside Fergus from Wee Epics for each of these elements, a large-scale PR campaign involving the team at frasermedia and a custom website that can be easily updated and developed as the project grows, designed by Wee Epics and developed by Sprite.

Nearly all aspects of marketing and event management have been touched upon with this project and it looks like that is set to continue…

  • Highland Social

What started out as just one social media themed networking event in Inverness has now turned into almost monthly networking events taking place across the Highlands!

A bit of a sideline project for Snow Marketing, Highland Social now has its own logo (designed by Dynam) and website (designed by Wee Epics and developed by Sprite) and even a membership scheme. And with social media being as big as ever the events have just as much buzz now as when they started.

As social media is constantly evolving it is important that Highland Social evolves with it so regular updates to the website, new blog posts and regular social media updates are all vital.

  • ness e’bikes

Jane Beaton from ness e’bikes, a new-start business based in Fort Augustus providing electric bike hire knew that in order for her new business to stand out some clever and creative branding would be essential so approached us to do just that.

The initial stages of this project was to create a logo, social media avatars, a tri-fold A4 information leaflet and a basic blog website so working alongside Fergus from Wee Epics we created a logo that was clever and stood out without the use of any twee tartan tammies!

We also print managed this project ensuring that the client did the branding justice with a high-quality, uncoated stock for the leaflets.

  • ITP Training

In 2012, with Clockstudio we carried out a full re-brand for ITP Training to incorporate a new range of services offered by the ever-evolving training company. We developed the ‘training for life for work for fun…’ strapline with bright colours to match. The new look was pulled through all marketing materials including A6 postcards and mini business cards. We then worked with local suppliers to create signage and a new website with full CMS to complete the re-brand.

“Michelle from Snow Marketing worked with us at every stage of our re-brand. She joined us at our team meeting and made a huge contribution to the seed idea. With regular contact throughout the process, and accompanying me to design and website meetings, she made the process so simple. Her fresh ideas and experience were invaluable to the end result – an amazing logo and striking branding which I love.” – Kath Kernaghan from ITP Training

  • Kerrysdale House & Cottages

In Spring 2012 the owner of Kerrysdale House approached us to look at their logo, website and marketing materials to market all three holiday cottages and B&B together as they were leaving the booking agency they were using. We first chose a name to incorporate all elements; Kerrysdale House & Cottages, and created copy before briefing local suppliers; Landscapes 365 for photography, Redkite Internet for logo and website, and Wee Epics for business card and social media designs. We then carried out social media and Google Analytics training to ensure all elements worked effectively together.

“I’m so delighted with my new website – thank you so much for all your work! I’m so pleased to have the new website live for the main part of the season.” – Marie Macrae from Kerrysdale House & Cottages

  • Highland Business Women’s Club

At the end of 2010 the HBWC approached us to review their website and suggest where improvements could be made. After spending time going through the website, listening to the committee to see what additions they would like to see, and surveying members to hear their likes/dislikes the decision was made to build a new website which would allow members to sign up on line, have easier updating capabilities for the committee, have an online booking system and have a modern design that better represented the club and what it stood for.

Michelle worked with the team at Plexus Media to tick all the boxes as well as exceeding expectations by adding in extra functionality and features. A website launch event with the support of Plexus Media was held in February 2011 to reveal the end result to the members.

  • Vine Trust Jubilee Gala Dinner 2012

In the summer of 2012 Mairi Fraser from The Drawing Room approached us for advice and support in holding a Jubilee Gala Dinner for the Edinburgh based charity, Vine Trust to be held at the New Drumossie Hotel. The dinner was to be attended by HRH The Princess Royal, so would be a high profile event.

We worked within their minimal budget to provide a quality evening that was deemed a huge success with over 320 people in attendance and over £70,000 raised for the charity. Our tasks included obtaining/collating auction prizes to create high quality prize packages, working with the Global Energy design team to produce a 20-page souvenir programme, promoting ticket sales, creating table plans, working with local suppliers to create the final room layout/design and much more.

  • Eoghain Maclean Photography

As a successful wildlife photographer based in the Highlands, Eoghain realised that as well as his photography style standing out he also needed a distinctive logo to enable him to promote his business via social media channels and at various craft events. He got in touch with us to see what we would suggest and after a few weeks of work he was delighted with the results.

We worked alongside Hill99 Design Studio to create a clever and strong logo; flexible enough to be used in a number of ways including as a watermark, a vital tool for all photographers. We then set up a design for mini business cards, which contained contact details and the logo on the back and then a selection of Eoghain’s favourite images on the front. Eoghain has since created small square stickers out of the avatar version of the logo to seal all his packaging with.

  • Highland Key

Highland Key was a project that Michelle from Snow Marketing started in 2011 to provide a user friendly destination website and discount card for locals and visitors to the Highlands of Scotland.

Michelle worked alongside a number of suppliers and contacts including Cuan Design, Dynam and The Keith Consultancy to create strong branding, an effective website and a full PR campaign.

In Spring 2011 Michelle held a launch event at the impressive Achnagairn House in Kirkhill to which she invited over 50 local businesses and tourism representatives to learn all about Highland Key. The launch event was well attended and well received. It was fully co-ordinated with the strong colours of the new branding from the room dressings and flowers to the cocktails, canapés and cupcakes.
